I've been taking PR's 11 practice SATs, and the curves are VERY different for each individual test, and most of them seem overly-lenient. Does anyone know what your CR score would be if you got 5 wrong, or your writing multiple choice subscore would be if you got 3-5 wrong? This information would be very much appreciated. thanks!

writing would be around:

5 wrong: 70 MC
4 wrong: 72 MC
3 wrong: 74 MC

This may I got 4 CR wrong (raw score: 62 of 67) and got a 760.

thanks! is the curve for writing really that harsh??

Yeah, it's far worse than on the SAT-II writing and slightly worse than in the CB blue book.

The Collegeboard likely wants the median score for the SAT I Writing section to be 500ish, which unlike the SATII: Writing was 600ish. To compensate, there must be a harsher curve.

on the may 7 sat, the writing curve was pretty lenient in my opinion, in that i only got 7/12 on the essay and still got 720.

That is irrelevent. What matters, curve-wise, is what you got as your scaled MC score.

Mine was a 70 with 5 wrong.
