<p>dang. Is it just me or did the GPA go up this year? I thought last year it was 3.6-3.9.....I hope what they say about our year being easier is true...</p>

<p>I cannot imagine this year being any easier. The trend of the last 3 years has been a gradual increase in the applicant pool from 21,000 in 2003-2004 to 23,000 in 2004-2005 and to 26,000 in 2005-2006. I expect this trend to continue for a while and the applicant pool to rise to 28,000-30,000 this year. If that's the case, you can expect another significantg drop in the % accepted and another significant jump in SAT/ACT ranges and averages.</p>
