<p>Many Hispanic students take Spanish coursework and Subject and/or AP tests, either because Spanish is not their first language, or if they speak Spanish at home, they still need to learn grammar, etc.</p>
<p>If you are fully competent in Spanish as a native speaker, I usually recommend taking a different language and tests. </p>

<p>As far as the language section, you should write down whatever is an accurate, truthful assessment of the languages that you speak; this question should not be influenced by the ethnicity you marked.</p>
