This is going to sound really anal but...

On common app I accidentally reported to my ED school that I got 10 points higher (720 as opposed to 730, what I reported) on an SAT II test. This was a careless error on my part and I hope that it won't affect my decision.

My question (and again I know it sounds really anal). Should I call my schools admissions office, just to let them know of this? I know they have the college board transcript that has the actual score. But does ten points look dishonest. I really thought I had a 730 before hand. They don't mail until the fifteenth.

Just e-mail them and tell them that you just noticed your typo.

not sure if it would make much of a difference now since ED results are coming back soon anyway. but just to be sure, give the admissions office a call and sound really worried :)

I don't even need to sound really worried, because I am :)

it's not anal .lol

Well its only like 10 points on an SAT II test, so I thought I was freaking out over nothing.

Well, I'd definitely let them know and sound worried, because they might revoke your admission if they thought that you lied on purpose or something weird like that.

i would shoot them an email saying that you messed up and wanted to clarify that the app. is wrong...they'll see the effort and wont mind, plus people do this all the time...on mine i got a 670 on one and accident put in 760...i figured it out much later, emailed them, and they emailed me back saying it was no big deal, computers/people mess up and they just ask to make sure you're not at the bottem of the barrell and they wait until the real scores come in and just attach that over your inputted ones
