When applying to grad schools, what transcripts do i need to send. I spent my freshman year at one university, but now i am transferring to another one for my soph, junior, and senior years. do i need to send transcripts from both schools, or just the one i will be attending for my last 3 years of college?

You need to send in ALL you transcripts. Read what it says on the admissions web site because I’m pretty sure it says that…

i’m in the same boat, but my new school includes on their official transcript my courses and grades from my previous school, does this still apply, or does the fact that all of my courses are consolidated onto one “official transcript” issued by my new school mean that i won’t have to hunt down transcripts from the other school?

They’ll really request ALL transcripts for an MBA program? My horrible year refuses to leave me.

wow, just great. i really hope that D i made last year (freshman year) at my previous college doesnt come back to hurt me

Don’t fret. If you are showing consistent improvement and strong performance in your later years of school, top b-schools will be ok with that. They know that you were a freshman once who may or may not have been motivated to attend class. The important thing is that you matured and have a good, strong direction going forward. They’ll look a lot more favorably on you than they will the student with all As his freshman year, and declining grades thereafter.
