No, my daughter did not request roommates and all her residence information is shown. Her roomates are listed, but there is no link to their email addresses at this time.

Now my son’s says, “Room selection is over.” No info about rooms or roommates. Yesterday it showed his commitment group, etc.

same here! I already saw my roomate, room # etc. but when I went to check it again it said room selection over…
Does this mean they are finished assigning roomates?

No, this means that they’re trying to close all of the backdoors that students are using to find out their roommates and rooms before they want us to.

that’s kind of stupid because why would they want us to know our roomates at the last minute instead of earlier. It would make sense to let everyone know early so everyone wont have to rush and buy their items for the dorms, and so that they might be able to get to know the roomate a little better before hand…

Exactly my thoughts, but apparently they want to be careful, just in case they need to change around rooms and such. Still think that we have a right to know our roommates earlier…

^^^ exactly, they don’t want you contacting each other via facebook and 2 weeks later find out that because somebody will not be moving in they gave you a new resume.

this is off topic i just didnt want to start a new thread for a simple question, but i just redid my schedule and i got a red line in between my math and econ class… i have 10 minutes to walk from the Math building to Tydings any1 here know the campus well enough to tell me if thats enough ? im a fast walker

You should be fine. I did chemistry building to tydings in 10 minutes last year, and I’m not that fast of a walker. definitely do a test run when you get here though, and use [TerpNav Pedestrian Mapping System](TerpNav Pedestrian Map System)
to find the best route to take.

Wow thats a great site lol thanks
