I used to work with a guy who had the feds knocking on his door when he was 12 or 13. He was hacking into federal systems. His parents had no clue what their brilliant but rudderless kid was doing behind closed doors. I think it’s really smart of this kid’s parents to help him develop his skills - including social skills - in such a positive, productive way.
