What colleges are you applying to? Just seeing if we have common ones, cause dude your ECs are off the roof.

OhGOD. How can you worry you’re not good enough? I’m telling you, >2000 is good enough not to turn you away. Make sure ur essays are good. Your SAT IIs are NOT bad. And, all the best :)

@karan i have submitted my work to two science journals (falconium and national high school journal of science). The work is being edited now and hopefully will get published next.

@dreamlord i will be applying to all ivys+mit, stanford, caltech, jhu, uchicago, brown, duke, rice, gatech, purdue, northwestern, and to the SUNY’s!All places which can give me aid. What abt u,bro?

@cobalt thanx for the wishes. After much web-browsing i have concluded that the majority of US admissions rely on luck.Anyways,I will try to put my heart and soul into the essays. And best of luck to you too for ur preboards and the admissions gamble.

@meche So you don’t need financial aid? That boosts up your chances. US universities loooovveee full pay internationals. Hope to see you in Palo Alto. Good luck mate.

Princeton, Brown, Cornell, Rice, Harvey Mudd,UPenn and in Canada McGill and UToronto.

@akashdip- I wish I was in Calcutta! Its got IIM-C… There are some awesome profs doing very interesting research in economics… I so wish it would be possible for me to collaborate with them…

@karan - he needs FA actually

@karan hey u have got me wrong.I need full financial aid.So that is a major concern for me too.!!and how i wish that the Palo Alto thing turns out to be true.Good luck to u too!

@dreamlord hey how are the financial aid packages of utoronto, ubc, and mcgill?I searched there websites but couldnt find anything significant.By the way will u be requiring aid?

@meche: I saw Purdue, Gatech and SUNYs on your list. They don’t give fin. aid. So I assumed full pay.

@meche- thanks
And ooh, im going for full FA too. Bleak chances tho, coz my ECs are nowhere as awesome, haha :O

@mitboundmeche: U’ll definitely end up going to MIT or any other top ivy with this EC list of yours.

U of T, McGill and UBC are good with scholarships for international students, considering your amazing EC’s, you stand a chance for their scholarship schemes. Also, purdue gives scholarships only in the sophomore year and for the SUNY’s, you can work your tuition fee out.

@veethiv thank you!i will take your word for them and add those colleges to my list too!

and one more thing abt purdue!it gives scholarships from sophomore year only or from sophomore year onwards?

@usapplicant!thanx for the moral boost!:D!but mayb u have overlooked my SAT SCORES!

@cobalt common’ no person can predict this whole gamble!but i seriously think that we should ,those who need FA,start looking for options here in india!do u have any backups?:(

Backup
DMC Medical College in my city. I’ll get a new car and enjoy the next 4 years doing night-outs. But I really wanna go out. :p
