<p>So, I am an early decision applicant who is anxiously awaiting a decision from NU next week.</p>

<p>However, I got a strange post card in the mail today informing me about signing up for interviews from the Alumni Admission Council. Oddly enough, the interview only applies to Regular decision applicants and has no bearing on my early decision application.</p>

<p>Is this act by NU a good/bad thing?</p>

<p>Or am I just overanalyzing this whole situation?</p>

<p>All thoughts on the subject are welcomed. Thanks!</p>

<p>Thats really messed up, because NU does not defer for their early admission, so you don't even have a regular decision.</p>

<p>An error on their side, perhaps?</p>

<p>yeah i got that too. i think they're just sending it out to all NU applicants, regardless of their decision type</p>

<p>I got the same thing. I'm assuming it's just because we are on some mailing list somwhere and they just send it out to everyone.</p>
