<p>So the section where we're supposed to list books we read for pleasure is limited to 300 characters. I was listing the books with the author's names (because some of the stuff I read is pretty obscure), but this left me only being able to list like 7 books. I know it's not that important, but I read tons, and I wish I could list more.... has anybody else not included author's names? This is probably not the kind of thing I should be worrying about...</p>
<p>hajikami, feel free to abbreviate some titles if that helps. no need to include author when title of book is well known. consider well-known if it was anytime recently on NY Times bestseller or if they made a $60m movie about it. in part you should realize that you are not the only person applying and what once felt unique was not really. so save author titles for truly obscure titles, and be economical on which obscure titles you add, perhaps making sure the author or subject is well known enough.</p>
<p>And maybe you could add the phrase: “I read tons, and I wish I could list more.”</p>
