How about Boston College?

very likely that you will receive an acceptance letter… nothing more to it
there is nothing holding you back soo I guess it just depends on whether or not the adcom is having a good day XD

Thanks! Even from Boston College?

Honestly, I think you have a good chance at all of these colleges! You could even be aiming a little higher than some of the colleges you listed. USC is actually a pretty good fit with a slight reach, but honestly, all “fits” can be a bit of a reach these days with tough admissions and more people applying to college. Good luck wherever you end up getting accepted to!

I think you’ve got an excellent chance for BU and U Miami. Try to get your SAT score up, if you can, to really be competitive. I don’t really know much about the others, sorry.

I can’t do it again
And I have BC and NYU as my reach schools

UC Irvine - High match
UC Santa Barbara - High match
University of Oregon - Low Match
University of Miami - High match
Pepperdine - ?
Cal Poly SLO - ?
Boston University - Match
UC San Diego - Match
San Diego State University - ?
University of Georgia - ?
USC - Low Reach

Unfortunately I’m not familiar with most of the schools on there with the exception of BU since I’m from the east coast. That being said, I believe being black plays more of a role than what people believe. I have friends with 2000 SATs, good GPAs, and good ECs with no other hook other than being black that got into MIT and Amherst College respectively (happen to be my two only black friends in the college process right now :p). Your subject tests aren’t great, but do you really need to send them to the schools you’re applying to?

I wasn’t going to send them

You have a good chance at all of them. As others said, maybe even aim a little bit higher. Congrats on all the hard work paying off!

Thanks!
Bump Update 29 ACT

id suggest, as many others have, of applying to higher level colleges (you’re at least a match for most of these schools). I’d suggest sending out some applications to reach schools, theres no harm at all

I am applying to NYU, BC, and NWU as my reaches

GREAT chances. USC will be a reach. Maybe apply to some more reaches!

Also I apply to UCLA
I thought that was a high match because of my GPA and decent ACT score

with a 2k sat score you are above/ on target for all these schools. ucs are a bit unpredictable but you have the right gpa and test score. usc is a low reach. san diego would be a saftey but it has a low acceptance rate. im sure you will get into bu. and pepperdine is a match.
