Ugh, I'm completely lost about what I am supposed to do for college applications. I know that we don't start applications 'till the fall (for Californians), but i don't know what we are supposed to do. I would like to ahead of time so that I won't have to worry so much later on in life. I know for UCs and CSUs we apply online, but of what will this consist? I know an essay, but could someone elaborate for me? Thanks in advance

After July 1st, create your account, and start filling out the application.

If you’re not applying to any schools that use the commonapp (a lot of state schools do not, but most private schools do), it might not be worth your time to fill it out, but at the same time, it’s a good idea to be prepared, so you might want to, regardless.
