This is probably a dumb question but...

I am transferring out most likely in the Spring semester. By then I will only be 14 credits away from getting an associates degree. Can I transfer the credits I earn from my new school to CC and get my associates or no? Here's the only information my current school supplies... Transferring to CCRI - Admissions - Office of Enrollment Services - Community College of Rhode Island

Almost surely not, because once you transfer out you won’t be a student there any more. How can you be a degree candidate there if you won’t be a student?

But I don’t see why that matters. Assuming that you’re transferring to a four-year college or a university, and that you intend to get a bachelor’s degree there, an A.A. would be of no real consequence once you finish your B.A. or B.S.
