<p>Besides, I’ve really only written about 2 pages of material. That’s nothing really. I’m used to writing 5 or 6 pages as the norm.</p>
<p>Lol This guy has such a warped view of reality, nothing we say to him will get through to him. No one in “real life” is going to ask you if you paid your own way through college, and then judge your status as an adult based on that fact. No one gives two shi*ts about how much you struggled and became a “man” because the government decided to pay for the majority of your tuition through a scholly. He’s essentially tossing the entire middle-upper class into a pool called “non independent adult-children who still rely on their parents”. In fact, he threw in an entire culture and race of people into that pool. </p>
<p>There is no defined line that draws an 18 year old from being a teen and an adult. There is no reason that one has to go through socio-economic struggles to prove his “worthiness” as an adult.</p>

I think you and I have different definitions of the word humble. You sir, are no where near doing better than me, on the basis of your logic that I am actually working more than you, and doing better in my classes. You think your science classes are hard?! HAHA Let me tell you son, I was a chemist before you even got into school, don’t even compare me to the elementary labs that you do haha. Go out and manage a lab for FDA product testing, then come back to me. Oh man, you make me laugh.</p>

<p>You imagine wrong haha. I landed the job because I knew a professor at UCR who’s friend opened up a lab in the Riverside area. Just wanted to point this out because its good for students to build relationships with their professors, there are clear benefits. There are labs out there that hire students, I had to work as a lowly tester before acquiring the manager position, and even then I had to pick up the slack for ppl who effed up HPLC tests…If anyone works with HPLC, they know the tests take forever, and messing up means sometimes redoing a 48 hour test 
. Medical kids out there, try to pick up a job at these testing facilities, its easy if you know your chem and have some recommendations to prove it. Looks great for med students on your resume
