I despise science with the deepest, most flaming passions from the bottom of my heart. It's so boring, so useless and I have yet to meet a science teacher that I would hang out with on a daily basis. Just though you'd want to know. :D

AHH! I hate science!

I only like learning about space and stuff but that's it!

I like English, History, and Politics.

Is the like part not allowed since this is a hate thread?

I think you should probably keep this opinion to your self, without science we would be completley ignorant about things around us having no knowledge what so ever about important facts.

The like part is allowed. Thanx for asking. It's the "I depise science and whatever else/I like whatever" thread. Welcome to my life people :D

Well I wish my school wouldn't require so much science. There are plenty of people who would willingly take science without the requirement....why should those of us who despise it from the bottom of our hearts have to take it? If science was out of my life my GPA would be so much better since it's consistently been my worst class. :)

i didn't mind bio and chem but omg....physics
holy crap that's a hard class

I despise, detest and abhor my computer from the bottom of my heart.
I despise, detest, and abhor phys and chem with the deepest, most flaming passion from the bottom of my heart.

I love business though. And I love history and English and politics. And I love NYC. I hope I get to work on Wall Street. Or at least the London stock exchange. I'm fascinated by the stock market. I plan to become a currency trader so that's good news. :D

=] ihateCA, you and I will become very good friends. xD Won't we?

I wanna see this ihateCA dude do real business w/o any of the blessings science has provided us w/. ;)

I HATE THE DAMN STATISTICS

every time
every time i open my barron's ap statistics book
i end up falling asleep on my arm. no matter how much sleep I've had.
:(:(

Sarorah! :] :[ Poor you and your statistics! ><; You know you kept on reminding me of a song every time you post. >P Kind of scary, don't you think?

I despise US history with a PASSION.

I know :(
The only reason I care about it is because I know a low score on the ap sheet will break my heart
Actually that's pretty interesting, I hope it's a good song ;)

Sarorah: at least you'll never need sleep medication like lunesta. Just tear a small pice of paper from your stats book, swallow, and ur sleep!

XD History is fun. xP Playing games are more fun. o_o; I despise something with a passion. xD [thinks of something]

Science isn't useless. In fact, I think it is the most useful, real-world application class in schools. I haven't had a need for most history, except for the fact that provoking=war, and this can help you win bets with people who don't get this concept. Politics I haven't used. I use English to write information, but I never use literature (why do we have to have THAT stupid class?). I use math everyday, so that's useful. And, I use Spanish everyday.

Why do we have useless classes like lit, politics, and history? They don't really apply to today's world. Really, we should have MORE science and math (and foreign language to som extent) emphasis than we do now!

More science and math? :P Maybe math, but not science. x.x; Science is too complicated for some people. >/ I do agree that Literature is a useless class.

if not for science, you and your family would still be praying to the sun god, the rain god, etc. and you would not be wasting your time posting on this board because it would not exist. Meh. Maybe you're right!

Maybe math, but not science. Like when you start up your car, put the key in the ignition, and turn the key. You don't subconsciously think in terms of physics "When you put the key in blablabla it went right over my head."

And just because science isn't emphasized, it doesn't mean that there aren't going to be engineers and doctors. We've been not emphasizing math/science for 40 years and our society's still intact. People who have an interest in science are going to pursue whether their school encourages it or not. The problem is that those of us who have no interest in it are forced to pursue it to some extent. :D

^.^ ihateCA, you're my hero! :D

Hahaha
I don't even have to ingest it; just open the book and read a random page . . no not even open it, all I have to do is look at the cover, which is pretty monotonous in itself
