This is the not UVM I know

This article is definitely not representative of the young men that I have met that attend and represent the U. of Vermont.

Vermont fraternity suspended over rape survey - CNN.com

In discussing this with my S, who is a senior in HS, he could only imagine that they used the word 'rape' in the survey to represent the concept of wanting to 'hook up' with an attractive female that was way out of their league. It's unfortunate that these young men sent out this survey, and even more unfortunate if they did it in a way to devalue women. I'm sure a few of them are getting a holiday scolding from their moms, sisters, girlfriends and and worst of all, from their grandmothers.

Snowflake: the USA today article had an update that it originated from only one student, not the whole fraternity…

Was going to link it, but can’t find it on the iPad app right now…

Thanks for the update. It’s unfortunate for him. Hopefully this gets cleared up quickly.

Luckily, UVM has handeled this matter in such a positive way
