Not really, but I figured I'd toss out a catchy headline anyway. I have an interesting quandary, and I can't seem to make a decision. Hell, I can't even force myself to lean one way or the other. Basically, I'm a simple Jersey kid deciding between UCLA and UC-Berkeley. I've wanted to go into film ever since I entered high school, so the obvious choice to the layman would be UCLA. However, I'm also majoring (by force, not by choice) in something else as well. The way I've interpreted the intimidating parental threats, it seems that I'll be doing something along the lines of engineering or business - i.e., something more "marketable" and "lucrative." The best option for this particular circumstance would be Berkeley. SO, with all things considered, which is the better option? I'm not sure if I'd get an MFA post-college, but if I went to Berkeley, I'd probably have to. Plus, there are the connections at UCLA I'd lose out on if I went somewhere else. But then, of course, if film were to fail, I wouldn't be as well-prepared for the world without a Berkeley business degree...

As you can see, I'm a bit befuddled.
