I liked the episode too and also wondered (I think as intended) about new characters being Miguel parents …did not think enough about the 1963 dates.
I agree Madison not appreciative enough . I’ll give her some slack for now because it can’t be easy to carry and deliver twins. Raising them with Kevin being there most of the time will be lots easier than being single mom. It is fortunate situation that they don’t need to worry about money, at least not yet. How wealthy is Kevin? (maybe he gets royalties from reruns of The Manny Nanny sitcom
My guess is it’s Toby and Kate’s kids, Jack and Hailey Rose because we saw them in a future scene. The mystery is still about Kate and Madison. It could be one of them.
I am not one to tear down This Is Us for flawed storylines BUT it was driving me crazy that these just released moms were driving a car right at discharge (didn’t they tell us something like 10 days before we could drive? I had all vaginal deliveries and was told not to drive right away) AND babies born 6 weeks early would not likely be discharged with mom - oh well!!
I had NO clue that that was Deja - and then of course Annie - meeting Tess at the house. Wow, shocker. We were trying to figure out the timeline…I feel like the BIG 3 look quite a bit older in these house scenes - more than 10 years older than “now” - which is basically 40.
But Deja is “now” around 16? She was either a med student or resident in that scene…med student she might have been 22-26…resident 26-30 or so…that would be minimum of 6 years later, maximum of 14 years later…I don’t remember - do we have a year or age of the Big 3 when the house scene is occurring?
Going to look at the link above about the flash forward clues.
Also laughing that every time here on CC types Madison, it gets highlighted…
Oh, definitely read the “flash forward facts” posted by @tx5athome a few posts up. No spoilers, just a collection of all the flash forward moments to help draw some clarity.
Two things:
Maybe Kevin’s son is 10 there? I think he could look younger.
Isn’t next season the last season? (6) I feel like there is LOTS that has to happen/develop with only a little over a season left. This show tends to wrap up earlier than most shows.
Yes, the driving thing was ridiculous. Also, Jack being able to buy whiskey at a gas station in Pennsylvania! But it wouldn’t be This Is Us without an occasional head scratcher.
