I read the People article about her and I still think it is imperative that she address the weight issue which is such a huge risk to her health. I can’t buy the “comfortable in her own skin” BS because it is simply NOT OK in any respect. I don’t think anyone should pretend that it is. This is not just a “plus sized person” or someone with more curves than your typical actor. This is a serious, serious problem for her.
Isaac and Elizabeth are the show runners with series creator Dan Fogleman…BTW They wrote Love, Simon which I saw this weekend and recommend. I’m glad Chrissy Metz is on the show, and would love for them to show her losing weight in a healthy way, inspiring others. It’s such unhealthy way to live, but so hard to overcome, at least in my experience…
I have to agree with @MomofWildChild. Being morbidly obese will cut her life short. 
FYI Dan Fogelman’s sister is the inspiration for Kate, and serves as a consultant for the character.

I follow this is us and Mandy Moore on instagram. They posted a time lapse video of her getting a full head mask made. I was suffocating and panicking just watching it.
What is the mask for? I just saw a photo of it on FB and that was enough to make me gasp for air.
@alexgrin I knew that the towel was that old because I bought one for my HS bf, and we started dating in December 1978. That was quite a sacrifice for this Cowboys fan!
It probably has something to do with aging her and making prosthetics.

Thanks for the reminder @2VU0609. I just noticed I started this thread two years ago this week right after the big reveal on the family dynamics at the end of the first episode. I’m still a fan, although I think I liked the first season better. The last season focused too much on Jack’s death for me.

He said that this year he and Beth will argue a bit more and have more conflict than usual - but that they will NOT split up - it just won’t be all roses. Which sounds like real life for most of us!
I watched it off the DVR last night and it was interesting to see Ron Cephas Jones speaking about the show because of how much younger he looks than William looked. I expected him to look older knowing his daughter was the original Peggy in Hamilton. The Memphis episode remains my favorite of all, so it was great to see them discuss it in detail, although I didn’t expect to start crying watching a recap type show.

Dan Fogelman, the creator of This Is Us, has a new movie premiering Friday called Life Itself. I looked at Rotten Tomatoes, and the reviews are abysmal, unfortunately.
I have been waiting to hear more about Dan Fogelman’s movie. I guess I will need to wait for streaming to see it.
