due to my senior grades, my ranking has experienced a dramatic decline. as a student once in the top 4% of the school, i am around 7% now. although my ranking may seem dismal now, do i still have a chance because my weighted grade is a 4.5 despite my 3.84 unweighted grade? i'm applying to some top-notch schools (MIT), and therefore i'm worried about how concerned they will be about my ranking.

As long as everything else is excellent, anything within the top 10% will not hurt you.

oh no....
dear me, Thats is so terrible. I sympathise with you deeply.
Advice, cancel ur top schools app. Tell MIT that u dont want to aplly anymore. Ur surely gonna get rejected....

Senior year grades are typically used to decide borderline cases.
