So, I just went back to look at my application, and apparently, I made a typo in the long question for engineering. The last word in that passage was supposed to be discipline as in engineering discipline, but it got cut off and now is just “discipl” and that’s it. It’s not that big of a deal. I’m only missing four letters and a period, and it shouldn’t detract from my essay, but should I notify them of this change anyway?

I'm sure they'll figure it out :]

don't worry too much about it

Alright, thanks guys. That's the only think I wasn't happy about. Other than that, I'm really optimistic about my application.

I saw one grammatical error for my why brown.. 100% reject?

i got a glaring grammatical error too. sigh.

Same here! Seems like it's nothing out of the usual.

I wrote "the the research opportunities at Brown..." on my application

sigh...

mispelling is illgal yuo will all go to jail

hey, I wrote down that I got a 740 on my SAT writing rather than a 770 -__-
I just hope they won't be like, wow, a student who doesn't even know her own SAT score...REJECT

add me to the list of making a typo on my brown app

Wow, I'm not the only one. Anyway, I e-mailed them yesterday to let them know.

i wouldn't worry too much about the typos. obviously there's nothing you can do now but if this makes you feel any better i said "nursery homes" in one of my essays instead of "nursing homes" and i somehow still got accepted early decision. good luck to everyone :)

that sounded more like (quite an intelligent) malapropism. albeit unintended.

lol that's why I've never looked back at my application. I dont want to see it ever again. I am pretty sure I have some kind of misktake, but dont want to know what it is..

cubs08, that's funny! My grandmother (who only had the worst things to say about nursing homes) always purposely called nursing homes "nursery homes." Lots of people assumed she was making a mistake because she spoke with a french accent, but they couldn't have been further from the truth.
