This Is What I Want!

I live in Michiga, go to a private catholic school that was ranked in the top 50 private schools in the midwest. I have a 3.8 weighted gpa and a 31 act. What colleges around me would be a good fit (Midwest and North Only)

Engineering or Computer SCience

7000 or more students

Good basketball program (I like going to games)

Nice Campus

Can get a scholarship

have you thought about Notre Dame?

Boston College would be a good one to check out too, although it doesn't have engineering (does have comp. sci). It's stats on financial aid are good too, in lieu of merit money.

Notre Dame...probably wont get in and I would need lots of financial aid

Please keep ides coming

Marquette, Syracuse.

uconn
syracuse
kansas
ohio state
pittsburgh
wisconsin
illinois

any others? dont want to go to a huge school

do you have those rankings? I'm curious if any schools around me are on it

Michigan should be your first choice. I'd say Caltech, MIT and Stanford are out of reach, and Michigan is arguably the next best Engineering program in the nation. You can also check out Cal, Cornell, Northwestern, Notre Dame and Purdue.

St. Louis University. You would definitely get some money.

Carnegie Mellon could be a reach

Who is familiar with St Louis? I actually was just on that site. Is it a good school?

please keep suggesting also

could I get a scholarship from dayton or cincinnati?

Yes.

Penn State.

Michigan State.

Illinois.

Rochester.

Ahhh... pick one.

My vote is U of Michigan

would I be able tog et a scholarship to Purdue?

31 act, 3.79 weighted gpa

would I be able to get a scholarship to Purdue?

31 act, 3.79 weighted gpa

I don't think so.

^^^

Syracuse
Northwestern
Cornell
