This is why I love UCLA!

The students here are just great people. Not only do they give back to the school and spend their time helping the community and world but they also have a heart for animals.

Purina Animal All-Stars on Yahoo! Video

So come to UCLA!!

Gee, another thread from collegeundergrad about how great UCLA is. Ho hum.

haha great video!
unfortunately i turned down UCLA, even though I know I would have loved it.

It’s such a nice change from all of the threads with posters who bash other colleges. Ho hum indeed.

^^^^Well when you put it that way… HO HUM.

rjkofnovi, that’s a little harsh, don’t you think? the OP had a choice of a lot of great schools, picked UCLA, and is in that post-choice doubt stage. Cut him some slack. Collegeundergrad, you made a great choice…UCLA is arguably the top university in the country’s second largest city…and unlike many top urban colleges in the country, it’s in a beautiful and safe area. Enjoy your 4 years there, and wallow in the fact that 8 months from now while you’re hanging out in shorts and sunglasses, students at the schools you turned down will be fighting to avoid frostbite.

Yes. By all means enjoy your four years. But honestly, shouldn’t these constant postings be in the UCLA section of top CC schools?

Jeez, you don’t like his posts, skip them.

I think it’s great that people love their alma maters! If you have a problem with the share of affection, why not just ignore the thread?

The title of this section is, “college search and selection.” Not sure what this thread has to do with that, but I guess I will just ignore these posts in the future. Sorry.

I think it can be a good source for seniors’ college search and selection. Please, don’t be too harsh to OP. :)

To OP: I’ve really enjoyed watching your video. Thank you. :)

I watched this video earlier on yahoo and I really enjoyed it.

yah! squirrel victory!!!

I agree with rjkofnovi that this should be in the UCLA forum

Well technically the OP is persuading others to come to UCLA so I think its fitting for this forum: “So come to UCLA!!”.

 There is a reason this video was on a site called “stupidvideos.com”

Do UCLA kids need subtitles to help them through a simple plot?

In some respects, yes, but a lot more people would probably choose the other elite option to be honest. Tough to beat Caltech’s science programs.

^ Caltech is in the City of Pasadena. It is true that “UCLA is arguably the top university in the country’s second largest city.”

Technically true, but it’s still basically the same city.

^ But what the poster said was accurate. If he/she said the LA metropolitian area, then it would be up for further debate.
