<p>The students here are just great people. Not only do they give back to the school and spend their time helping the community and world but they also have a heart for animals.</p>
<p>rjkofnovi, that’s a little harsh, don’t you think? the OP had a choice of a lot of great schools, picked UCLA, and is in that post-choice doubt stage. Cut him some slack. Collegeundergrad, you made a great choice…UCLA is arguably the top university in the country’s second largest city…and unlike many top urban colleges in the country, it’s in a beautiful and safe area. Enjoy your 4 years there, and wallow in the fact that 8 months from now while you’re hanging out in shorts and sunglasses, students at the schools you turned down will be fighting to avoid frostbite.</p>
<p>The title of this section is, “college search and selection.” Not sure what this thread has to do with that, but I guess I will just ignore these posts in the future. Sorry.</p>
<p>In some respects, yes, but a lot more people would probably choose the other elite option to be honest. Tough to beat Caltech’s science programs.</p>
