This may be a silly question but...

I want to go to BYUI, but don't think I can get in simply because of grades. I dealt with self-esteem issues in high school, and only got a 1.8 accumulative. I'm not Mormon either, but I do agree with everything that they do. I think if I took the SAT I would do very well, is there anyway of me getting in with a 1.8?

Did you mean 1.8 cumulative? Or just for one school year?
If it’s cumulative, it seems like a stretch, because you would need at least a 2.0 even though they admit nearly 99% of students. If you explain what happened in your personal statement or your essay, I’m sure they will understand. Definitely take the SAT and ACT though so they can get an idea of how good of a student you actually are. It’s certainly not impossible though.

You could also take some pre-req courses at a CC to raise your GPA and also get some schooling out of the way.
