<p>This may sound crazy, but I really want to go to MIT as a liberal arts major. </p>
<p>So how will MIT look upon a student who is amazing in humanities, good at biology, and has taken every advanced math/science class but is only okay at them?</p>
<p>You have taken every math/science class in existence? You are a shoe-in then.</p>
<p>This is sort of a difficult question to answer, because MIT doesn't admit by major -- you won't be in a separate "humanities major" pool, you'll be in with all the prospective scientists and engineers.</p>
<p>Just make it very clear on your app that you're really excited about the humanities.</p>
