This might be a stupid question but...

I was wondering if SAT II scores are sent to your high school? I don't recall anything about it when I was signing up for them, but I don't want to do badly and have them appear on my transcript.

Also, do scores get sent straight to colleges when you apply? This might be a stupid question but I know some colleges like Stanford require all past SAT & ACT scores.I have a feeling I'm going to do pretty badly on Lit & i don't want colleges seeing my score. You can pick & choose which subject test you want to send right?

Sorry, I truly know very little about the SATs & how collegeboard works because all I've really done is the ACT.
Thanks!!

***bump
anyone?

well yeah your teacher is sent a copy of your score

The college won’t judge on one bad score. Especially if you retake and improve. They don’t get sent unless indicated that you wanted them to be sent.

^^^^Does it get sent to our guidance counselor?

okay so i’m allowed to send only 2 out of 3 tests to a college when it comes to application time?
and yeah idk i just put my school name cuz it asked for it but i don’t think i ever said “send to my school”. the only reason i’m worried is because i don’t want it to appear on my transcript if i did badly.
i’m not sure what “teacher” would recieve it if i did…i think a GC would recieve them.
