...but when the brief course description of freshman seminars says the times are "TTH," that means that it's on tuesdays and thursdays, and not tuesdays through thursdays right? Or am I wrong in both?

And how do freshman seminars generally compare in difficulty to regular classes? Or are they too diverse? I just want to know to evenly spread out the difficulty throughout my freshman year.

The difficulties vary based on the CTEC's for previous years. And TTh means T+Th, not through. Though I have to say, the Japanese courses are scaring me if thats the notation... MTWThF!!!!!

Seminars are usually considered to be easier than normal classes. THey are taught very differently from other courses. There are approx 15 kids in a writing and discussion heavy class. There are no lectures. In my experience, usually there is a reading assignment (rough 100 pgs due per class) and then you discuss it. You actually need to do the reading, or else you look really bad. Since the grading is based on 3-4 papers and on class participation, the class average is usually a B+ or an A-.
Then again, considering seminars run the full range of majors (within Weinberg) and professors, I could be totally wrong on all of this.
