Music

Lifelong torture or instant death?

Music

Lifelong torture or instant death?

Instant death (obviously..).

And on a less dire note: turkey or beef gravy?

music (especially music written while existentially depressed)

books, or books on tape

cd & book or dvd on mini dvd player while on commuter train to work?

wow. I drive to work, so I don't think I'm qualified for answering this. But if I had to choose, I'd go with the CD and book, because a DVD on a train to work would be a hassle.

Integration by parts or integration by substitution?

Depends on the problem, but Integration by substitution, because Integration by parts can often include substitution.

lowered drinking age or lowered voting age?

Lowered voting age for sure! The ones who care enough to take the initiative to vote are mature enough to make sound decisions. Then the outcome of a few presidential elections could have been quite different. Lower drinking age really isn't as wonderful as it's cracked up to be. Ask any European kid.

Sitting next to somebody on the airplane/in the movie theater/in any public place with seats close together and having that person be a nervous twitcher who takes up your arm rest or an incessant cougher/hocker.

Taking up arm rest. Coughing is one of my biggest pet peeves ever. I know that's really unreasonable, but nothing is more annoying than a hacking cough.

If you someone offered you $1,000 to quit CC FOREVER would you take it or not because you're too addicted?

Oh easy. I'd take it.

Although 1,000 is kind of LOW. ;)

Would you rather travel the world on a shoestring (like, having so little money you have to wait tables in Argentina) or make 150,000/year in a city at a desk job?

Travelling the world in any way sounds so romantic! Then again, if the desk job had a significant, positive impact, then the desktop job. I guess, just for fun, I'd go with the world. Then I could write a book about all my adventures, which would translate into desk job.

Second-hand cigarette smoke, or that screeching, excruciating nails on chalkboard combined with scraping styrofoam noise?

Second-hand cigarette smoke.

Sylvia Plath or Anne Sexton?

Sylvia Plath
Keats or Yeats?

Keats

a lot of stress or a lot of unhappiness?

lot of stress- unhappiness just sucks

moldy cheese or moldy salami

moldy cheese...don't they sell that?
Coffee or tea?
