this scares me

the kids in all my ap classes basically hate everyone that is not in the "ap clique." so at lunch they just call random people douche bags because they arent smart or dont invite them to any parties or w/e. and they are also extremely homophobic and racist. there was this gay dude on the math team and they tried to kick him off becaue he was gay, and when they traveled for competitions no one wanted to room with him because they were scared they would get raped lol. also, they are extremely stuck up and think that they are so smart and mature. so when i try to mess around and stuff they act like they are above that. and they can never make decisions when doing math problems and start arguing and calling each other names lol. they are just basically only good at doing homework all day and getting good grades and have horrible social skills and have flawed logic, i.e. what is the right thing to do, what is the wrong thing to do.

so yeah so what really scares me is that these kids are going to become leaders someday and lead society. yet it is pretty evident that they are incapable of doing this, but sadly with doing enough homework and getting good grades they can.

if you can reason that they are incapable of leading, then their not going to be leaders. Simple as that. If you have noticed, one of the most prominent factors in voting or hiring is the candidates likability and personality.

now, are all the AP kids like this? or just a select few.

hmm, yeah you're right. but its still bad if people elect other people based on their likability and personality.

from my experience, the vast majority are like that.

I have seen that as well. Not only with AP kids, but also with any magnet-school kids, and especially (at least where I stay) with IB kids.

They are immature kids. I am not saying I am not but I know I don't treat others unkindly because I think I am "superior".

The fact that these kids get As or score high on tests doesn't mean they will become "leaders" someday. Most likely, they will realize their stupidity in college, will grow out of it, and will THEN become leaders.

yeah i sat at their (math team/ap kids) lunch table one time, and there was this one kid that sat there that had friends outside of their clique. so when his other friends came over to talk to him, they just randomly started talking to themselves about how that kid is a douchebag and stuff. and they even talked about how i was a douchebag. so i was like "***" and just left lol.

and ive been listening and talked to some of the ap kids, and find so many loopholes and bias in their logic. like i sat at this other table with the "swimmer girls" because they invited me to sit there. and they cracked jokes and made fun of me and everyone laughed, and when i made a joke on one of them they all got defensive and crap.

yeah but i think leaders should be people who can make rational decisions, and they shouldnt be elected by people who cant make those rational decisions, and thats why you have people voting for people based on their race/gender/personality/religion/looks... yeah.

What the hell kind of school do you go to, man? I thought segregation was over....the students still segregate themselves though, no matter what. At my school, it's generally race, and at your school, I suppose it's academic classes.

We have IB at my school though, and although I have a few friends in IB, I dislike the rest of them because they do, in fact, think that they are better than everybody else, and what especially makes me mad is when one of them says:
"IB is so much harder! We work much harder than them [AP kids], and so we're better,".

ps- I thought that was really funny what you said when you told us that you sat at their table, and they called your friend a deuchebag and then they called you a deuchebag..***? lol
