So I spent a lot of money on my baby Rudin today and the price sticker is on the back lower-right corner of the cover.

Of course I tried to rip it off, but there's residue, so I stopped trying to rip it off. Is there anything I can do?

I am tempted to go back to the bookstore and ask to switch for a book without a sticker or one that can easily be removed.

use some goo gone or something

Take the rest of the sticker off then spend a lot of time scraping the residue off.

How much money did you spend? My copy cost $20.

paper towel with some rubbing alcohol, dab at it

Put peanut butter on it and let it sit for a little. Then it should just peel off.

If I try to scrape the residue off it’ll damage the cover. It’s a hardcover not softcover.

washcloth slightly dampened with warm water. rub at it gently.

Mistake #1

Don’t waste your money on the American edition

Ehh. I’d figured it’s worth the investment.

But problem solved! I rubbed the residue off the cover. Friction took care of my problem.

Now I have to prepare for Analysis class.
