Apparently this guy named Galileo is openly defending the heliocentric model of the universe! Is this guy insane or what?! The sun doesn't revolve around the earth, paaaaleeeease, how self-centered is this guy???

We should put him to death for going against the Church's teachings, how dare he!

Why is it that we round up at .5?

I mean .6.7.8.9 make 4, and so does .1.2.3.4; so why did society choose .5 to be rounded up?

MY theory is that society is obsessed with the excess, for instance, with conspicuous consumption. No wonder Mark Twain satirized society and its Guilded Age so much. We always want more and never can settle for less.

If I win the 1000th post just talking to myself, don't get mad at me. Hey, you know what they say, "you snooze, you lose."

OH NO! 33 to go!

SHHHHHHH! Don't wake the others up!!!

You know what one of my friends once said was that "you snooze, you lose" was originally designed to address the fact that if you always feel tired and just like to go to sleep, you will not gain enough pleasure from sex. Isn't he just a silly goose.

You're gonna close this thread down tonight, right?

tryin' to get 2 posts in the same minute. i think it can be done.

Why are breasts supposedly so stimulating sexually? Their actual purpose is just to breastfeed the youngsters. I guess society goes on again with making sexual standards, actually creating a conformity to which our minds adapt and therefore transmit neutrons stating breasts create pleasure.

$#&*$@! That Shoulda Done It.

I guess it just goes to show you how a mind can adapt to its surrounding so dynamically. Therefore, all of us should really never be mad at each other since we all have the same basic roots but different specific environments, thus different specific philosophies. Though we generally have the same environment and thus the same general philosophies.
