This Whole Resume Thing?

Still a jr, but what does this actually involve? What colleges “recommend” a resume (which makes it as good as required)?

no, but everyone submits one anyway.

I was pretty sure abt that...what does it actually involve?

There are many ways to do a resume, but it basically tells about all your activities, honors, jobs, etc. It can be in a list, as chanman's is, or in a spread sheet program. I made up a spread sheet after seeing one in a "applying to college" book. It has columns for activity, years done and hours/week, position in organization, and a last column which gives some details about what my son did. I have different sections for activities, honors, jobs, etc. If you look online, you can find examples. Also check the library for those college application books--can't remember the name of the one I used, however... sorry.
