Agreed. Also, could you guys post what we are doing so I can prep myself for Sat?

Yeah i’ll be on a plane sunday. would be nice if someone gave me a heads up about what is done there=]

You only need to know four words - party on the fifth.

^ Shhh! Don’t let the parents know…

So, I got back home from UCSD a few hours ago. In general, orientation was better than I expected. (: The leaders are all fun people, and they put on entertaining skits. Most of the Muir advisers, especially Emily (?) who danced for us, seem really lively.

About staying overnight, when you get into your room (my lock was frustrating!), there’s towels, a blanket, and bed sheets on the mattress. Even though I was assigned a single room (it’s just for that one night), I ended up sharing a triple with 2 other people because I felt lonely. Glad I did because we all agreed to be roommates now~ The rooms are decent and bigger than I expected. The main thing I didn’t like were the showers. There’s 2 curtains but no way to keep the curtains closed so I was really nervous that someone might accidentally open my curtain while I was changing. Plus, the water sprayed really hard.

The square-dancing (yes) at the end of Day 1 was fun! It was really funny, because everyone in my group kept messing up. All the people seemed to have a great time! Definitely one of the highlights of orientation. (:

Yeah, I can’t really think of much to say but it was fun for me! I’m really convinced that Muir is the best! Go Muirons~

You’re the one who gave away the square dancing! And the party on the fifth has happened every orientation for at least the past ten years, so it’s not much of a secret.
