Those of you admitted to UCLA as a life science major...

For those of you admitted to UCLA as any life science major, I'd like to have a minute of your time to answer a few quick questions. I did search past topics for the same information but I figured this way I can get more specific feedback.

1) Major?
2) Gpa?
3) Ammount of pre reqs completed? Did you complete ochem 2 and/or year of physics?

Thank you! Your posts are appreciated.

Biology

3.70 before spring 2012
3.67 after spring 2012

I did most of them. I am only missing 1 bio class and I only only did half a semster of ochem and physics. What prolly gave me an edge was that I finished the calc series.

Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology

3.8X (not sure how UCLA calculated my GPA).

Missing one quarter of Calculus (but met the requirement according to UCLA?), all of Physics, and Biology lab (not offered at UCI). At the time of application, I had all the other pre-req’s done and I have just finished up Ochem this quarter.

thanks for replies, bump
