Those of you who think that you have a good chance.. do you have straight A's?

I used to get straight As. This year, i’m taking 6 APs and some of them are just not good. I think I might end up with 1 or 2 B’s.

Those of you who think that you are pretty competitive and think that you have a very good chance of getting in, do you have any B?

I’m really worried …

A guy (no legacy, URM or athlete either) I know got into Brown with a 3.6 overall GPA and a 32 ACT...

But I should mention that I go to a truly CRAZY competetive school (Illinois Math and Science Academy).

But 1 B will not kill you. 4 or 5 might not even kill you.

My school doesn't tell us that we have A's, B's, or C's, until they send out our transcripts and, voila, there's a conversion thing that says 80-89 is B and 90-100 is and A. I have had probably five B's, but they were all 88's or 89's. Colleges won't look at it the same as if I had like five 80's, will they? I mean, they won't just convert all our number grades, which we solely use throughout high school, will they? Because there is an ENORMOUS difference between an 80 and an 89, but a minuscule one between an 89 and 90. They'll look at the numbers and not conversions...right :/?
