those who attend fsu

For those of you that attend FSU how do you like the school? and why do you like it or not like it?

Thanks!

I am a graduate…but graduated many years ago. I selected Florida State back then and I’d do it again. It is far better now than it was and getting better!

I’m a current student and I’ve gotta tell you, from the first moment that I stepped on the campus to check it out my junior year of high school I knew that I was going to be a nole. The campus is beautiful, absolutely stunning. Even on days that I don’t have class generally I’m on campus, either to take advantage of the amazing services (Strozier Library) or to just hang out for festivities (Market Wednesdays), or even to just sit and think in the amazing union green, just lay down and relax, its an amazing campus. Also, I love all my classes, I haven’t had one class where I thought my professor was boring or anything like that. After a semester every student rates the professor which is actually taken seriously by the university, if a professor scores low they can see severe consequences, it weeds out the bad professors, every single one of my professors is an expert in their field and loves passing on knowledge to students, they are also very easy to work with and extremely helpful. In addition there’s always something to do, for example this Thursday we had Derrick Comedy (Nationally recognized comedy troupe) at Club Downunder (really cool club on campus where there are frequent concerts, events, etc…) completely free to students and we also had Terminator: Salvation playing at the Student Life Center (Also free to students), Market Wednesdays are amazing, local vendors and student organizations come out and either recruit or sell things from posters to DVDs to purses and shoes, its amazing and a really fun environment. If you can I’d recommend coming out to visit someday (just make sure classes are in session).

that was really helpful. thanks

If you have any other questions feel free to ask, I’ve been all around campus and i try and attend as many events and know as much about the campus as possible (Trying to be an Orientation Leader / RA)

Thanks for the info!

Yeah i saw we sticky the response above LOL, i seriously think it sums it up PERFECTLY.
