Its always best to see a school for yourself instead of relying on hearsay especially because people are bias (lovers or haters).

If you happen to have a bad vibe after visiting, then don't apply because it just may not be the place for you. For every person that hates it, theres always someone else that loves it.

IR in undergrad is within the school of liberal arts.

For graduate school, Fletcher is world-renowned.

Please, get your facts straight and don't bash my alma mater. A lot of the people who complain about "Tufts Syndrome" have significantly worse stats than I did - and I applied years ago, when it was easier to get in. In fact, of all the anecdotes about people being rejected because they were "too good," I've never seen one which had better grades, SATs, & ECs than I did. Maybe, just maybe, those people aren't good enough. If you are applying from Massachusetts and are upper-middle class and white, then you probably need to really stand out among the several thousand MA applications.

Rant over.

haha Aries you're awesome. I like to think of you as the "Jumbo Reality Check" of CC. Too many people simply underrate Tufts...but it's good to know that post by post, people are being informed of the gem that Tufts really is. Keep it up!

LOL, thanks. :) You're more than welcome to try as well.

I was 19 years old and in charge of my own projects. I was 20 and working on NASA work, attending national conferences to present my research, and writing proposals. Young, yes - but I'm just that good.

Thank y'all for sticking up for me - but don't worry - it's a mistake I got a lot, both in my company and people I met at conferences - the "You're only how old?? I thought you were 30! Do you want to go to grad school at [fill in with person w/ whom I was speaking's institution]? We would love to have you."

dont get upset aries...its ok. As long as we know how great an institution we go/went to is all that matters. The only thing we can do is bother with those that are interested in tufts and tell them our awesome experiences!!
