Those who still have not received a decision...

All I can say is that Cornell sucks with their mailings. I was accepted to CALS, but I still have not received an acceptance letter or general info packet (and I was accepted on May 10!). I've called the admissions office several times, asking them to re-send my stuff. Anyways, I did received the financial aid letter (didn't qualify for any aid; this has been a problem for me because my family is on the cusp with two kids in college; it also sucks because I am unable to attend really any of the schools that I got into (Cornell, Tufts, Wash U) except the College of William and Mary, which I will attend next year). Why does college have to be so expensive! Grrrr!!! So I'm not going. But it would be nice to receive my acceptance letter anyways!

at least you heard from tufts.

i, on the other hand, am still waiting....

I've been waiting from the University of Miami since around january. When april came I thought I finally got a decision but all I got was a letter saying to send in my second semester grades, and I got the same thing from the U of Maryland, and its 1 day before June so who knows. Maybe June is my lucky month, last year as a senior I didnt get my acceptance letter until June 12th.

No mail from UChicago today - called them, and they finally relented and told me that I was not accepted. So it goes. I hope everyone has better luck than I did!

Georgia Tech, Where Is My Decision?

Nothing still
Keeps us updated everyone.

should I be worried if I haven't gotten a decision from tufts yet?

Are these colleges even going to have any spaces left for us? I think it's ridiculous that we wait so long. If we're not going to get in, just tell us already. The suspense will probably not be worth it in the end. While I'm dying here, walking a dealth walk to the mailbox every day, NYU admissions counselors are away at some conference for a week, further delaying any review of my still lagging application.

I never got a decision or any sort of communication from University of Miami, George Washington University, or Tulane University. Luckily, I already received acceptances from Vanderbilt and UNC Chapel Hill and thus dont need to bother with the others. I'm also still waiting for Northwestern, they needed my second semester grades, and they told me I should expect to hear back in like late june.

i got admitted to nyu, but decided not to take it and just officially informed them early this week...so i hope that opens a spot of for someone else

ooh! maybe that person will be me

i totally agree with ceruleanne. whats the matter with them. i know i will get rejected. but i still want to read my rejection letter! grrr

well hey, at least this message board is good for venting huh? What school are you waiting on ti83?

Those who applied to Cornell engineering and still haven't received anything, what major(s) did you apply?

I havent heard from George Washington yet, but it doesnt matter. Im going to Berkeley.

have yet to hear from USC...............

The sucky thing is that transfers usually hear later than first-years...and there seems to be less attention paid.

Hold tight, and we'll hear very soon.

yes..hopefully. I don't see why we should be paid less attention--aren't we all paying the same amount of money here?

i am waiting for cornell mechanical engineering and chemical engineering

Well, I know now that there were at least two ppl accepted to engineering here @ cc; one AEP and one BME.
