Thought diversity?

So ive heard a lot about there not being much ethnic diversity which i am willing to accept. However, ive also heard a lot about everyone thinking the same way and there not being much outside the box thinking. From what i hear, its all very straightforward, and that villanovans are trained to follow and not to lead. Is this true?

One of us, one of us...

Just kidding. I'm accepted but I don't go there. I didn't see anything like this at the EA Open House, but I'd like to hear input from current students about it.

There's def not a lot of diversity but if you're of a different ethnicity (other than Caucasian I mean) it's not a problem as long as you know what to expect when you get there. As far as everyone thinking the same way I kind of see what that person means. I come from a very liberal area and in my hometown I would be seen as being pretty conservative but when I got to Villanova I found that there are much more conservative people than me. I actually found it quite surprising. Out of all of my friends I'm def the most liberal and a lot of them have very strict catholic views on things even though they're not that religious. More of a mindset if you will? I'm trying to be honest and give you my opinion of the people I've met and such. However, I didn't mean to try and sound negative about it all. Although a lot of the people are very similar it has never been a problem and regardless of their views on things, they're really nice people and the school is fun. As long as you go in and are willing to accept not too much diversity it's an awesome place. I def wouldn't say though that Villanova are trained to follow. That's not the case at all!
