Thought I did terribly on Writing due to grammar. But 3 improve paragraph mistakes??

<p>I was pretty down when I learned I only got 660 on my writing (710CR 800M). Since English is my second language that is excusable. I thought my low score is attributable to my lack of knowledge in some nonsensical English conventions.</p>

<p>The whole report came today and voila! 3 mistakes on Improving paragraph, out of like 6 questions? I am pretty mad because I only missed 1 on identifying error and 3 on improving sentence (last few on every set always get me, they all look the SAME!)</p>

<p>Without the 3 error I could have got above 720 or so.</p>

<p>This SAT thing makes me angry. I always thought improving paragraph should be free points.</p>

<p>Yeah, I was quite peeved when an improving paragraph question prevented me from getting an 800 in writing. I always thought they were free points.</p>

<p>Most people rush through them (myself included), since they're so easy compared to everything else. The Writing section is generally a lot easier to complete in the required time than the other two, so just be careful at the end and don't sprint through the home stretch.</p>
