So what do you guys think about it? Pretty broad question... but I tend not to hear much about it. I mean, as an applicant to that school, I should probably know more but xD

For me, I just got the vibe that lots of the people were snobby or something when I visited... no idea why. -___-"

I thought the Lville campus was very amazing…all of the buildings looked new, and I really liked the “houses” they had.

I think that its close vicinity to Princeton probably plays into the “snobby” feeling, but then again there will be snobby kids at any elite boarding school no matter what.

I love Lawrenceville! I know lots of people that go there, and they all love it. The only thing I dislike about the school is the utter hugeness of the campus. It was like a small college! It seemed kind of easy to sort of drown in, you know? But my tour guide assured me that the houses act like a support system to prevent from “drowning.” Also, freshmen pick up on how to get around very quickly. Other than that, Lawrenceville seems like the quintessential prep school. I had a great interview, too! It wasn’t justs someone asking me questions - instead, it was an actuall, intellectual conversation that I very much enjoyed.

Oh, thanks guys… I think I had a bad first impression, and I probably chose the wrong day to interview ad tour anyway.

So supposedly Lawrenceville’s gonna send some username and password for accessing the decision? -.-" So complicated cause they used SSAT too, you know? sigh Well, I hope they send the info soon.

Good luck, you guys! If you applied to Choate too, how would you compare them?

@EnemyOfTheSun: That’s the only reason?! Lol, just kidding. I also went there and the interview guy person thing was very discouraging about like… Everything.

Aw… Choate is one of my top choices for the schools I’m applying to… To each their own opinion? Lawrenceville is another one of my top choices, though not as top as Choate. I guess I just got different vibes from the two schools, both of which I loved and could envision myself spending the next three years in. Choate seemed more relaxed and laidback with Lawrenceville more New-York-y and rushed. :D

Haha, same for me about Choate! The interviewer took a look at my stats and kind of had that “oh-this-one-is-hopeless” look on her face. She spaced out the whole interview… That was my first interview, haha. D:
