thoughts of admit day

So... to everyone who saw UCSD on non-admit day/everyone who actually goes there, I'm seeing all these posts that are like "Admit day was NOTHING like how it is in real life."

So whats the difference? less people obviously, anything else though?

13579-
omg did you stay for the overnight program? So did I!
Lol, it wasn't that convincing for me, but I guess it was because of the fact that I spent most of the day at the Cross-Cultural Center....=/ Where you there when that one guy read like a 10-page poem? lol.

I went to the musical too! Haha Urinetown! Loved it<3
And I'm in ERC as well! What did you think about it? LOVED Cafe V.

the poetry was a little too much.

yelling guy, then the cop who forgot his words, then that rapping guy, then that... i don't even know about that guy. but that song thing wasn't bad. except we lost.

but everything else was cool.

OVT was better than cafe ventanas imo.

weren't there only 4 people in erc?

We tried going into OVT at 1am, and it was crowded...people eating giant burritos in their pj's. I only saw one other person from ERC at the overnight program, and yeah we lost the song thing too...-.-

so you're going there for sure?

yea i've already sent my sir in.

those burritos were awesome

i live in san diego, so i can tell you it was hotter than it will ever be. usually its in the 70's. anything in the 80's is pretty abnormal.

just make sure if you go to UCSD that you check out downtown. there's some pretty cool fishing areas and the restaurants are good. if you like sushi, go to NOBU'S in solana beach. if you like mexican food, go to old town and look up the cafe coyote. if you like sea food that's not sushi, go to Point Loma Seafood. those are my recommendations.

Hey thanks for that, anthonypace. My daughter will be attending in the Fall. She's coming in from out of state and has only been to SD once.
