Thoughts of my Spring 2011 Schedule?

Well im an accounting major and im currently a junior and im planning on taking 18 Hours in the spring

Accounting Information Systems
Intermediate Accounting I
Cost Accounting
Principles of Management
Operations Management
Business Communication

Do you think this would be a difficult schedule. Also, I've never taken more than 16 Hours in a semester untill this one

Looks tough, do you think you can handle it? How well have you done with 16 hours? Looks like you’re going to have a lot of work to do over this semester.

1040EZ snickers at the tax joke.

AIS and cost are similar–lots of overlap. Intermediate (I assume financial) accounting is a repeat of intro on steroids. Business communication is perhaps the biggest joke of b-school. Operations is a bit more math-heavy but still not bad. Who knows what the hell principles of management will be like? I assume that’s an HR class.

This is a lot of busywork and tedious memorization. But you did choose business, so you should be fine with monkey work.

I think I can handle it but I know Im going to have to work VERY hard

Btw I fared well with 16 Hours. The classes I took were:

Accounting Info for Bus Decisions II: C (woulda got a B if I didnt get a D on my exam)
Applied Statistics II: A
Critical Reading, Thinking & Writing: S (Use the S/U option)
Music Appreciation: A-
Invest Science:Human Nutrition: B

I think that the Principles of Management, Operations Management, Business Communication classes will definitely help balance out your accounting workload.

B-COM & Mgmt Principles were totally blow-off classes for me.

It’s totally do-able! :)
