Thoughts on a complimentary major/minor for Economics?

I'm currently enrolled as an Economics major, because I fell in love with it in senior year and I thought it would be a good idea to pursue a career in it. Now, however, I am becoming worried that simply a major in Economics won't be enough to land me a job upon graduating.

My question is: which would be best for a complimentary major (double major) or minor for a degree in Economics; Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration? If you can think of others, let me know.

I would vote for finance and/or accounting as practical.

Either Finance or Accounting would be great! Also, become fluent in a foreign language and your chances of getting a job are much higher!

For pursuing a career in economics, you may want to consider going on to a PhD program… in which case advanced math and statistics courses (e.g. real analysis, in-depth probability and statistics) or a second major in math or statistics would be helpful.

Political science isn’t a bad minor either. It would help you understand relations with other countries and how one change in a policy can effect the whole country.
