DS was accepted for Spring ‘23 & on the waitlist for fall. Does anyone have any feedback on being a spring admit?
In general I’m not a fan because they start behind socially etc. That said many schools and special programs offer this and many students do them. I’ve got a friend whose daughter that’s a BU Spring start coupled with a summer study at Oxford and she had a great first semester.
I imagine an extrovert will fare better. I’d strongly consider a different school if you have another suitable option but each student is different and many will excel.
