Thoughts on Clark Kerr Campus

Thoughts? How are the suites? Do students socialize primarily on the campus, or do they head elsewhere? Just how far is it from the main campus? It is too far? Would you suggest living here?

0.5 miles from building 2, 3, 4, or 11 to the Boalt Law School (southeast corner of campus).

1.6 miles from building 17 to Barker Hall (northwest corner of campus).

[Gmaps Pedometer](http://gmap-pedometer.com) can help you with distances.

Building on what ucbalumnus said…

It takes about 10 min to walk from Clark Kerr to SE corner of campus.

In the most extreme case – if you have to get to the NW corner of campus, like where the College of Natural Resources is – it takes 15 min to walk (diagonally) from the SE corner to NW corner of campus.

Of course you can always take the perimeter bus around campus.

If you’re lazy, don’t live in Clark Kerr. If you want convenience, don’t live there either. When I lived close to campus and I had a lab or something due in an hour, I could go back home, make changes, print it, and be on time to class/get a better grade. If you live farther away, you have to be more responsible or you’re doomed.
