Thoughts on dec 4th Math2c

lol. that standard deviation thing was the EASIEST question i have ever seen. especially after taking AP stats..i took one look at the question and all the graphs, and bubbled in the one w/1 line..that question took me a good 6 seconds to find the answer + bubble in...

the answer to nth term closest to one was c)10

Wait, you mean the answer for the one that asks which of the graphs that has standard deviation equal zero is the graph with just one bar on it? That's uncanny. I guessed for it. I even closed my eyes when guessing lol!

I personally think this test was a piece of cake....at least compared to last June's. I mean i didn't evens tudy for, haven taken trig for a year and fill confident that i answered about 40 of them right

i thought that this test was ALOT easier than novembers test.

i really hope i got 700+
I just want anything in the 700s, i dont care what

anyone remember any other questions? i cant remember any.....

i already got 700 for 2c(oct).........took it again......I' m pretty confident what i got ...omitted 8 qeuestions, prolly got 3 wrong............I NEED 750 BADLY.....do i have a chance with the 2c curve to get that 750?

This question was brought up before, the one with, xy^5 power in the equation, and it asks you how many zero's did it have? I got 2, and someone else on this board got 1...what did you all get? I'm keeping a tally now of questions i def. got wrong: omitted one, got the functions table question wrong (grrr)...

what was the probability answer. One red, one blue something else, and calculate the probability of getting it in some order

For the xy^5 one it had two roots. You put y=0 and solve to see how many x values there were. The roots were 2 and 0.

For the function one with the three tables, i thought it was only II and III. 1 didnt work because one x value had two y vals associated with it. Im pretty sure about that.

Was the standard deviation of one bar 0? I think it was answer A.

What was 49, the eliptical one with x^2/a etc. I put 4 and 16/3 (E)

I ommitted 2, and guessed on a couple. I havent seen any that I have missed yet, except for maybe 49. Whats the max that i can miss to get an 800? Thanks

oh no...for the elliptical one, Did they ask for "a" and "b", or a^2 and b^2, because i know that a^2 is 4 and b^2 is 16/3 (you are right), but i thought it was asking for the actual values so i took the square root. :(
AHHH!! well at least we got the same answer for the xy^5 one...

O yeah, the p^2s^5r^8 thing was defientely B. it was p^3s^6r^9 or whatever. I picked primes 2,3, and 5 and it worked. I almost chose D, but didnt . . .

I thought it was asking for the actual values as well... Arrrrggghhhhhh

It was asking for a perfect cube that's divisible by the given number. I'm almost positive the answer was p^3 s^6 r^9 since it is perfect cube.

I dont know if it was a^2 or just a. I put the 4 and 16/3 thing though, it probly was the other way. Damn, oh well, hopefully it wont matter.

Probability of the colored marbles was 1/6 i think. 1/3 X 1/2 X 1 cause the demoninator gets one less after you take 1 out.

That was definitely 1/6. I got it wrong though... I rushed through it and did 1/3 * 1/3 * 1/3 = 1/27. Damn. Ah well...

Skier13, i think it may have asked for "a" and "b", not squared...
I wish more people were on this thread so we could get a definite answer
As for the marble question, I also got 1/6

Anyone have anythoughts on how many u can miss to get 800?

oops i addressed the wrong person in my previous post, sorry

I hope the curve in real SATII's is accurate (43 raw score). I really need to ace this one after screwing Physics big time.
