All right well heres just a rough sketch of what i was thinking Pre dent or Pre med

1st semester
General Chemisty w/ lab (6 credits combinded)
Calc 1 (4)
Some Honors class required by school-history class (4)
intro to college writing (4) or honors english 1 (4)

2nd semester
Organic chemistry with lab(6)
principles of microeconomics (0-4)
intro to psych (0-4)
Another honors class required by the school- history class (4)

oh and can some one can explain how a class can be 0 to 4 credits, is it based on your grade????

your schedule seems fine. a lot like mine first semester, and my first semester was pretty relaxing. i have no idea about the 0 to 4 credit thing though

You might be able to choose how many hours you do. It could be like doing a practicum class- you sign up for how many hours you do and however many hours you take will determine how much you do for that class. I would talk to your adviser, though, because this is just a theory and I could be completely off.

I’m a little confused by your school’s pre-med requirements. Are gen chem and orgo only one semester classes with two semesters’ worth of material condensed? At most schools, these two classes are year-long. While gen chem in one semester is doable, I shudder to think what orgo would be like. In fact, is there any reason why you must take orgo as a freshman? It is pretty difficult, and you may want to use freshman year to get used to the college workload and such.
