Thoughts On Important Issue?

Hey Guys ~

I recently sent an application to a school that is not due until January 15th. I am a terrific writer, but for some reason, I had an incredibly difficult time doing the two open response essays. I just had trouble writing about the topics, and they came out bad. What are people's thoughts on how I can correct this? Should I send a letter to be included talking about myself or something else and explain that I had a diffiuclt time or what does everyone think?

(The school by the way is the University of Florida)

Thanks!

hey i know exactly what you're going through--i'm also a really good writer, but for some reason i'm just really not doing well w/ the essays. the only essay i think is good is too long and doesn't really match my topics...i don't know if you could write a letter, that might seem a little weird, but does your college allow you to submit supplemental material? i know a few accept writing samples (i think.) maybe it's worth looking into, and getting some old essays that you did well on. good luck!

anyone else know about writing for supplemental material?

bump.......

Submit a supplemental essay, if you feel that the subject and writing will add something to your application. Otherwise, own up to it, and accept it.
