<p>They look at you within the context of your school. Add Harvard, Princeton, Yale, and Stanford to your list at once.</p>
<p>^The OP said that d1 sports is important to him, so out of those, only Stanford would fit. USC would be a reach, but not as much as Duke or Vanderbilt, though USC may be a bit numbers oriented right now since they’re trying to move up in the rankings.</p>
<p>ballman, your stats and your list are similiar to my son. He was accepted to Wake, BC, W&M, Villanova and rejected at UVA. He has not heard from Vanderbilt yet. He is also at a prestigius east coast private school with grade deflation. Aim high and have a good range of targets and safeties. Good Luck!</p>
